2022 Mandocello Design / Build
The shapes for this were made in vector form in Affinity Designer, drawing inspiration from both Telecaster and Les Paul aesthetics. The resulting vector files were used with an online utility to control a small CNC machine, with which we created router templates for the body and headstock. The plastic plates were cut directly on the CNC machine. The 27" scale and CGDA tuning directly reflects a full sized cello. Purchased components noted on the YT video. |
